Wow, I LOVED the mechanic analogy! I owned my own computer store for 8 or 9 years, and I even have a degree in Computer Repair .. but customers would ALL-THE-TIME bring their computers in and ask me what was wrong, then I would tell them what was wrong and invariably about 50% of them would ask me (oh this still makes me feel some type of way), "Are you sure that's what is wrong?" No dumb***, I have a magic 8-ball back here let me shake it again!! Literally one of my biggest pet peeves.
